How adorably disgusting by VCR-WOLFE How adorably disgusting by VCR-WOLFE
I feel so awkward with FA down omg I just really wanna scuttle over there right now haha.

Today I did some new characterization concepts for a fetal pig specimen I keep in a little jar on my desk. Its name is Cap, short for Captain, or Capitalist Pig, depending on what you feel is more fun.

The basic idea behind its characterization is some form of fighting game character. Cap uses its umbilical cord like a whip.

Proof of existence here:

i love the idea of Capitalist Pig, the combination fascinates me.
Pigs are so flexible, and i love the concept of this one.
Have to say i've never dissected one, i've only done that with chickens and a cow.

If you ever get into any animation stuff it'd be cool to see walk / fight animations of this dude.

So does cap have a gender or did he never develop enough to have one? Or maybe porcine fetuses start off female like human ones?

VCR-WOLFE Featured By Owner Feb 1, 2013  Student Filmographer
Uhm well due to the position the body rests in I cannot get a good enough view of its genitalia to determine the fetus's sex unfortunately.

Because of that I simply refer to the characterized version of the object as being genderless or sexually ambiguous at best.

Aw man, I have this... love-"dear god burn it with fire" relationship with fetal animals. I think they're kinda gross, but at the same time intriguing. I'll probably get more use to it as I get deeper into my biology studies. I dissected a fetal pig about a year ago and it was really interesting.

Anyway, enough about me, I really like this concept!

Idek I don't really see anything gross to them? I mean animals do have to start out in some form or another.

Thanks for likin' the art though!

I think he's adorable but, foes the umbilical cord hurt him because its being used as a whip and such?

AH I really want a shark specimen. The teacher I had in the class I got the pig from had a kitten with diprosopus, I really liked it and got a picture of me with its jar before I graduated hhaha.

Ohhh my god really? That's crazy. You totally need to design a character based on that; I would have loved to see what it looked like ._.

One of my biology teachers in high-school had a perfectly preserved corn snake skeleton; I guess some kid had brought it to her dead and she threw the corpse into a tank full of flesh eating bugs and I think possibly some other dry chemicals and they just left all the bones behind. It was the coolest thing ever until some douchebag crushed it >:{

Mostly bird characters I like birds.

WHY WOULD YOU CRUSH NICE SKELETONS

Ah, at least you have a real purpose behind it unlike some of other artists who are trying to be edgy.

To be honest, I would love to see this cutie in fighting game pixel style. That would be interesting
